Jack Morgan, AIA, FCSI, CCS, CCA

Mr. Morgan resides in Indianapolis, Indiana, and specializes in Architecture and Specifications. With over 41 years industry experience in a wide variety of projects, he is a licensed architect in 34states, and is an active member of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), American Institute of Architects (AI), the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB),Specification Consultants in Independent Practice (SCIP), and the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).

He graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1973 and has been a licensed architect since 1977. He has been involved with the production of specifications for19 years. He earned his NCARB Certificate in 2003. He has achieved CST’s Construction Document Technologist certificate (CDT), Certified Construction Specifier (CCS), Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA) certifications, and is a LED Green Associate.

He is a former President of the Indianapolis Chapter CSI, is Chair of the Program Committee, and serves many other Chapter committees. He is former President of the Great Lakes Region CSI, and serves as GLR Newsletter Editor. He has served on the Institute’s Education Committee and Jury of Fellows. He continues to serve on the Institute’s Audit and Awards Committees. He is a Director of the Great Lakes Region on the Institute’s Board of Directors. For several years, he is an Instructor of the Indianapolis Chapter’s CDT, CCS, and CCCA Exam Prep Courses.

He has received Awards from the Indianapolis Chapter CSI including the Fran Schroeder Memorial Award and Member of the Year. From the Great Lakes Region CSI, he received the Continuous Service Award and Bud Reed Memorial Award. From the Institute, he is a Co-Recipient of the Hans Meier Award for Promotion of CSI Certification Programs. He was elevated to Fellowship (CST’s Second Highest Award) in October 2018 at the CSI National Convention in Long Beach, CA.

He serves as Bass Section Leader for the First Baptist Church of Indianapolis Sanctuary Choir where he is a fifty-six-year member.
