The biochemicals division focuses its attention of the assembly of selected quantities of chemical compounds used in the medical industry in labs, hospitals, and clinics. It works on researching market needs and packaging the correct quantities and combinations of chemicals needed by its customers. Packaging and distribution are prepared at the Roche campus.
The building design reflects the scientific research of the rest of the campus and provides shipping and receiving capabilities. As in other Roche campus buildings, the use of well planned landscaping and water, serves to enclose the building in beauty, add sound privacy from the roadway and provide retention areas for on site storm water collection.
The building is approximately 65,000 square feet in size.
