Roche Diagnostics Biochemical Building

Indianapolis, Indiana

The Biochemicals division focused its attention of the assembly of selected quantities of chemical compounds used in the medical industry in labs, hospitals, and clinics. It focused its attentions on researching market needs and packaging the correct quantities and combinations of chemicals needed by customers. Packaging and distribution was prepared at the Roche Campus.

The building design reflected the research and administration vocabulary of the rest of the campus and provided shipping and receiving capabilities. As in other Roche campus buildings the use of well planned landscaping and water serves to enclose the building in beauty, add sound privacy from the roadway and provide retention areas for on site storm water collection.

The building is approximately 65,000 square feet in size.
