The design for Lexus of Naperville created many unique opportunities for Architura. The challenge presented to us was how to physically create the Lexus image of quality, elegance, fit, finish, detail and craftsmanship in a three-dimensional functional facility. The dramatic central portion of the building features a 30,500 square-foot, two-story showroom with a 22-foot-high glass curtain wall that brings in plenty of natural light and casts an appealing glow at night.

The Lexus experience is all about customer comfort and emphasizes the service experience. The quality of materials and finishes far and above exceeds the average auto dealership. As an example, the entire forty service bays are finished in porcelain tile floor covering. The greatest testimonial came from the Owner who stated, “Probably our greatest challenge was visualizing the daily activity and how it would flow. Everything worked perfectly. It’s a beautiful building. We wouldn’t have done anything differently.”
