Birch Bayh Federal Building & U.S. Court House - Indianapolis, IN

Internationally known Einhorn Yafee Prescott Architects selected Architura as local partner with the directive to help provide a variety of architectural services for a comprehensive 75 million dollar renovation of this 475,000 s.f. national landmark structure. Currently nearing completion of the design phase, the renovation includes, “everything but the structure and stone”. An entirely new mechanical, electrical and plumbing system will be complemented for the first time with a complete sprinkler system throughout.

Architectural repairs and improvements will accommodate these new systems with a preponderance of new security and electronic requirements. Several of Architura’s roles are to aid in the selection of various professional engineering consultants as well as providing inspection and as-built documentation services.
